TapTech Quickstart Guide

Step 1. Contents

The following is a complete list of contents included with your new TapTech Controller and Integrated Touchscreen purchase. Items listed as “optional” do not come standard, but may have been included in your custom package. Ensure all parts are accounted for before moving forward.

Step 2. Control

Connect the TapTech Controller, Hub, Control Dongle(s), and applicable devices:

  • Connect the TapTech and Hub using a USB Type A cable and the provided right-angle USB adapter.
  • Connect applicable Control Dongle(s) to Hub:
    • Serial
    • Relay
    • Infrared
    • GPIO
  • Connect devices to corresponding Control Dongles.

Step 3. Power

The TapTech Controller can be powered with the provided micro USB Power Cable, or by PoE. Do not use a USB cable other than that provided with the TapTech.

Step 4. Network Configuration

If connected by ethernet, the TapTech will automatically connect to your network during bootup. If it does not, or you wish to manually configure network settings, tap the settings symbol in the top-right corner and then individually tap the settings you would like to change.
